CONSTANT CHANGE

Electrons, stars moving through space,
following a circular path around
the nucleus, sun center.
Whether on an atomic or galactic scale,
everything transforms as
it continually spirals upward,
raising vibrations throughout
the cosmic space of creation.

This ever changing state of affairs
is neither good or bad, it’s miraculous.
It is life’s gift of hope and promise
for it resurrects awareness buried deep
within the heart and soul of the observer.

Consciously or unconsciously,
having an inner longing to know,
we seeking the answer of, “Who am I?”
CREATOR plays the ‘hand of change’ by
stretching and shrinking,
opening and closing,
giving and taking,
birthing and dying.
Holy creative energies offer up
changing scenery through eons of lifetimes,
enhanced by the power of role exchanges
from innocent infant to ancient elder.

As earth-actors, we open to versatile
patterns of learning, of clarity.
Straining to touch our heart’s essence,
we peels off ego’s outer layers.
Tears stain cheeks that a moment earlier
highlighted sparkling eyes and smiling lips.

Lifetime after lifetime we spiral around
before ‘light bulbs’ go on and awareness sets in.
Wearing removable blindfolds, tapping white canes,
we earth-actors relentlessly repeat
over and over theatrical performances.

It takes great courage and insight
as earth-actors to walk off the stage,
remove our costume, throw away props,
and wipe off our facial paint?

Time to disrobe earth’s elementary lessons
and remove the victim’s mask of servitude.
Time to release our fears, for constant change
brings growth and fresh opportunities.

Cocoons break open, we stir and stretch,
moving through shrouds to embrace
another metamorphic cycle.
Spreading newborn wings, a deep breath
is taken as we flutter colorful ‘fans.’
Flying free in higher dimensions,
we experience grand enlightenment
born from love’s constant change,
rediscovering who we truly are.
