BEYOND DISTRACTION

Today is a day of boisterous distractions
amid a sleepy cat’s noisy snores,
raucous bird-calls of gathering flocks
for autumn’s migration south,
and the grating tune of my wash machine
as it spins around in the laundry room.
All this is punctuated with the constant movement
of our daughter...over and over... from room to room...
footsteps thumping upstairs, downstairs, outside, inside.
As doors squeak, I seek a quiet, meditative peace.

“Be still and know that I AM GOD;
quiet your mind and open to ‘the All of Life,’
for ‘All’ is perfect just the way it is.
Embrace the multiple dimensions;
lovingly include each distraction and frequency.
Shine your inner Light outward on everything,
for my Divine LIGHT shines down constantly
on peaceful quiet and alarming chaos.
It brightens dark shadows and
stirs hearts open to the inclusive ONEness.
There is no good or bad, right or wrong,
for warm, nurturing, brightness shines
sunny rays on EVERY SINGLE THING.
Just be still and know it is GOOD.
All is a sacred part of Creation.
Place your focus on inner beauty, on peace.
Be in your heart’s internal calmness.
Be still... and as you allow... bless it."
